Oppertunites for 2004s and younger. -

The 2012 football season is about to start and we can confirm we have entered four fun 4s teams into the Forth valley Football Development Association.

Organised matches will start weekly on Saturday mornings from the 3rd of March; venues for the fun 4s are still to be confirmed. Normally, teams will play over the period of an hour. Matches will last 10minutes and each team will be given 5 matches over the hour period.

We have the opportunity for 24 players born after the 1st of January 2004 to play in these teams. If we have requests for more than 24 places we will try and accommodate as many players as possible and if numbers are still growing in the summer we will be allowed to apply for more teams to be entered into the association.

We would like to ask you whether you are interested in your child being given the opportunity to play in these organised matches.

As discussed at our parents meeting held on 19th December you will be asked:
  • To make payments via monthly standing order, £15 each month, starting March.
  • To pay a one off club bond of £25, refundable on leaving the club.
Full information about these payments will be given in a welcome pack once you have intimated desire for your child to play in these organised matches.

Finally please note that due to our move towards playing organised matches. Starting Monday the 13th of February training fees will be £1.50 per session.

The club is proud to announce that they have received charitable status. One of only 4 football clubs in Scotland to have this status. Scottish Amateur Cup 3rd Rd Replay

Woodwynd Wolves 3-1 Tullibody

Tullibody's Scottish Cup exploits came to an end against ayrshire side Woodwynd, Scott McIntyre scored Tullibodys goal.

Under 14s

Tullibody 6-1 Calender Thistle

Josh, Mark and Rory all scored twice for Tullibody in a controled match at the Public park.

Under 13s

Tullibody 6-3 Calender Thistle

When Callander Thistle took the lead early in the second half of this match it looked like Tullibody Community were going to be made to pay a hefty price for the missed opportunities and not converting from the lion's share of posession in a tight first half.
However once Callander scored the opening goal it was all one-way as Tullibody started to make their chances count against a strong and committed Callander Thistle.
The conditions hardly made for free flowing football, but Tullibody dug deep and through no lack of hard work from everyone on the park they quickly found themselves 4-1 to the good with a great strike from just outside the box from Rocco Giannandrea and a solo effort from Daniel Kempski the pick of the bunch.
It might have been more, but for the outstanding efforts of the Callander goalkeeper and Tullibody were soon pegged back to 4-2 after switching off at the back.
But great focus and excellent team work won it on the day for Tullibody and they were worthy winners in the end.
The coaches were really proud of the players for adapting to a new formation that was forced upon them through injury and folk being away.
It was also great to see them all enjoying the football and applying some of the principals that they had covered at training during the week.
A special mention to Mr Bonner who was fantastic all through the match.
Final Girls game of the Season -

Sunday 30th Oct

Tullibody Community LFC 2-3 Broughmuir Thistle

The final girls game of the season was an entertaining affair with the 17s. Tullibody produced some good football and lots of effort to put Broughmuir under pressure in the second half but just couldn't get an equalizer.

East of Scotland Cup

Cup update Scottish cup 3rd round draw: Tullibody v Woodwynd Wolves (Ayrshire league), 5th November. East of Scotland cup 3rd round draw: Doune Castle (Caledonian league) v Tullibody, 19th November.

Tullibody Community FC under 13s were worthy 4-3 winners in what was a fiercely contested match today at the Old Denny High School versus a spirited Central Rio.

The heavy park made for a less than pretty match, but both teams made up for it with no little guile and endeavor. Tullibody struck first with a goal from Rocco Giannandrea and continued to pile on the pressure with Ronan Kenneth Horne getting a lot of space on the right hand side of the forward line. After a great fight back and two goals in quick succession Central Rio found themselves 3-2 to the good with about 15 minutes left - after having been down 2-1.

The under 13s continued to plug away and some great pressure, good defending and no lack of luck saw them pull it back to 3-3 with a goal from Ronan Horne after a goal mouth scramble and shortly after Kieran Sturridge Bonner sealed the points with a nice finish in the box, again after a stramash just in front of the keeper. It was a good return for the boys from the 15+ chances that they created during the game. The performances from front to back were great and the boys should be proud of themselves! Special mention must be made of Lewis McEwan who continued to play through the pain; with a marble-sized lump on his forehead after a clash of heads early on.
