Tullibody Amateurs Player of the Year Awards

Tullibody Amateurs Play of the Year Awards was held on Saturday night. It was a celebration of the successful season Tullibody had, having won their Division, The Mathieson Trophy and the Cameron Craig Memorial Trophy.

Player Manager Fraser Duncan Scoped the top awards by winning the Players Player of the Year and The Dunc Gilchrist Player of the Year Award.

Darren Cummings Won the top goal scorer boot and Brian Morgan who stepped up for the Under 19’s in the previous season won the Jock Johnston most improved player award.

The club would like to thank RM Bonar, The Abercromby Arms and there many other sponsors who have helped them throughout their successful season.

Cameron Craig Cup Final

Tullibody 1-1 Camleon Thistle
1-1 aet, 6-5 on pens.

Tullibody had to wait for penalties so win there third trophy of the season. Camleon had taken the lead but Fraser Duncan scored from the spot to make the score level. Camleon were reduced to 10men but Tullibody failed to make the extra man count.

The shotout saw both sides locked at 4each, it took the 2nd sudden death penalty to produce a winner. All penalties have been uploaded to youtube and you can view the first penalty here

Mon 1st June

Cameron Craig Semifinal.

Tullibody 6-3 Dunipace

Dunipae went a goal up before Tullibody Scored through Beaton and Dixy, Pace drew level again then Morgie Headered from close range, Dunpice brought the score level almost straight away.

But a Cumings hat-trick sealed the victory and Tullibody now play Camleon in the Final

Tullibody took an early 3 goal lead which set the course of the match. Cummings netting 4 goals, Jazza with a double and Bonar also on the score sheet. A pleasing result ahead of the Cup Final on Friday.
